IWS has five stages, from age 5. Here’s what your child studies at each one, and which curriculum it follows.
Ages 5 to 11Key Stages 1 and 2
The National Curriculum for England.
Five subjects make the full package. In Academy that is three live lessons a week in each.
About Primary SchoolAges 11 to 14Key Stage 3
The Cambridge International Curriculum.
Five subjects make the full package. Subject choices begin as students move toward IGCSE.
About Secondary SchoolAges 14 to 16Key Stage 4
The Cambridge International Curriculum, including Cambridge IGCSE pathways.
Science and computing
Maths, English and languages
Humanities and social science
Five subjects make a full package, chosen from the thirteen.
About IGCSEAges 16 to 18Key Stage 5
Cambridge International A Levels and, for A Level sciences, Pearson Edexcel qualifications.
Three subjects make a full package, chosen from the twelve. Most universities ask for three A Levels.

About the Foundation ProgrammeIWS does not run examinations. Students sit their exams at an approved exam centre, and we guide your family through registering.
